Essies Luxe started with one chair and a phone that never stopped ringing. We built the business we wished existed: honest timings, clear prices, and a diary you can see rather than guess at.
Why we're here
Braiding deserves better logistics
A full head of knotless braids is five hours of skilled work. Too often it gets booked like a fifteen-minute trim — squeezed between two other clients, finished in a rush, with someone waiting in the doorway.
We do it differently. Every style is timed for the work it really takes. We cap the number of all-day appointments we accept in a single day, so the person in the chair at four o'clock gets the same care as the one who came in at eight.
That's also why we take a deposit. It isn't about distrust — it's that a missed five-hour booking can't be refilled on the morning, and that lost time is somebody's wages.
Your time is real
We time every style honestly and we only take the bookings we can actually finish. If we're running late, you'll hear it from us before you're sitting in the chair.
Scalp before style
No braid should give you a headache. We work with light tension, and if something's too tight we'll take it out and do it again — no argument, no charge.
Properly insured
Every treatment is covered, every technician qualified, and lash and tint clients are patch-tested. It's not glamorous, but it's how you know you're safe.
