When you book: your name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us about your hair, allergies or preferences.

When you order from the shop: the above plus a delivery address if you choose delivery.

When you contact us: your name, email, phone and the content of your message.

We record patch test results because our insurance requires us to hold them.

To provide the service you've booked, contact you about your appointment, keep a treatment history so your stylist knows what worked last time, and meet our insurance and health-and-safety obligations.

We only send marketing messages if you've ticked the box to receive them. You can withdraw that at any time by replying STOP, clicking unsubscribe, or telling any member of staff.

Only our staff. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our booking and payment systems are provided by processors bound by contract to protect your information.

Client and treatment records are kept for seven years after your last visit, which is the period our insurer requires for treatment history. Marketing contacts are removed as soon as you opt out.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not legally required to keep it. Email essiesluxehair@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
